THE GOLDEN RULES FOR TANNING ON SUN ANGEL
- You can safely relax and enjoy the session on SUN ANGEL. Even so, the same applies here to natural sunbathing – don’t overdo it. Don’t take more than one session a day, and ten sessions a month are quite enough for a sumptuous tan. Your tan will stay rich and beautiful if you take around two tanning sessions a week afterwards. Leave at least two days between tanning sessions.
- You should not use a sunbed if you belong to any of the following groups: non-pigmented skin type I, skin type II with freckles, unusual or many moles, frequent family history of melanoma, age under eighteen. We recommend that you use the minimum dose according to Germany’s Federal Office for Radiation Protection in your first tanning session; just leave the sensor in its base station.
- Make sure that all of the measuring points on your head and body are free of lotions, including solar cosmetics.
- Self-tanning lotion may invalidate the measurement.
- Select an area with light or no hair growth for measuring.
- Don’t take a measurement twice, and do not switch measurements.
- Use skin care after your session to preserve your tan. After-sun lotion specifically developed for tanned skin is especially effective.
- Always wear special UV-opaque eye protection, and keep your eyes closed during the tanning session.
- Thoroughly remove any cosmetics from your skin a few hours before your tanning session, and remove any jewellery. Don’t use sun block on the sunbed, as it will lessen the tanning effect.
- Ask your doctor whether it would be wise to use a sunbed if you’re on medication or if you have any skin disorders. Certain medications can increase the effect of UV light. If you notice any changes or reactions in your skin after a tanning session, don’t use a sunbed – see a doctor.
- Salon hygiene is essential for health. The floor mat, control panel, UV glasses, and handgrips should be cleaned using a special fast-acting disinfectant before every tanning session.
- All Ergoline sunbeds have been tested using the TÜV and EMC regulations and standards, and carry a GS seal – safety you can rely on.
